In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Coosa Valley Academy Rebels basketball team scored a good 67-57 triumph over the Banks Academy Jets.
In their next game, the Rebels meet the Hooper Academy Colts (Hope Hull, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27. Coosa Valley Academy will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record.
With the defeat, Banks Academy moves to 7-8 on the year. The Jets host North River Christian (Tuscaloosa, AL) to meet the Chargers in a AISA A Region 1 match on Thursday, January 26. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 2-9. North River Christian lost 59-56 in their recent non-league match against Tuscaloosa Home Educators (Northport, AL)
