South Carolina High School Basketball - Hammond topped by Ben Lippen

The Ben Lippen Falcons basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Hammond Skyhawks to 55 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Augusta Christian for a SCISA AAAA Region I contest on Friday, January 27. Ben Lippen will battle a Lions team coming off a 71-60 league win over Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC). The Lions record now stands at 20-5.
The Skyhawks (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC). The Cardinals come into the SCISA AAAA Region I contest with a 13-14 record. In their last contest, Cardinal Newman prevailed over Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC), 61-48, in a non-league contest.
