Berlin Mountaineers (Berlin, NH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Inter-Lakes Lakers (Meredith, NH), 58-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Berlin upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Mountaineers travel to Gilford (Gilford, NH) to play the Golden Eagles in a Division III bout on Friday, January 27. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 11-0.

Next up, the Lakers play the Belmont Red Raiders (Belmont, NH) in a Division III bout, on Thursday, January 26. Inter-Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
