The The Heights (Potomac, MD) basketball nipped the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 58-57 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The (3-13) will now prepare for their test against St. John's (Washington, DC). The Cadets go into the DCSAA AA test with a 17-2 record. In their last test, St. John's was tipped by Paul VI (Chantilly, VA), 69-60, in a league test.

The Cardinals now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Our Lady of Good Counsel for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Bishop Ireton will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 74-58 league win over Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Falcons record now stands at 13-8.
