Brazos Christian Eagles (Bryan, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics (Temple, TX), 51-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Brazos Christian upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Eagles host Central Texas Christian (Temple, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 3A District 3 bout on Friday, January 27. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Central Texas Christian lost 33-29 in their recent league bout against Reicher Catholic (Waco, TX)

Next up, the Celtics play the Round Rock Christian Academy Crusaders (Round Rock, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Holy Trinity Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 9-14 record after their 70-42 league loss to Live Oak Classical (Waco, TX).
