The Brookwood Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Valwood Valiants to 47 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byne Christian for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Brookwood will battle a Saints team coming off a 77-52 non-league win over St. Teresa's Catholic (Albany, GA). The Saints record now stands at 13-3.
The Valiants (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Knights enter the GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Deerfield-Windsor ran past Southland Academy (Americus, GA), 64-55, in a league contest.
