Moody Bearcats (Moody, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bruceville-Eddy Eagles (Eddy, TX), 61-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Moody upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Bearcats host Chilton (Chilton, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a 2A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, January 27. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Chilton lost 41-40 in their recent league bout against Bosqueville (Waco, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Chilton Pirates (Chilton, TX) in a 2A Region III District 17 bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Bruceville-Eddy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record.
