Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Carmichaels can't hold off Burgettstown

The Burgettstown Blue Devils basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Carmichaels Mighty Mikes to 50 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Beaver for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 25. Burgettstown will battle a Golden Beavers team coming off a 68-56 non-league win over Freedom Area (Freedom, PA). The Golden Beavers record now stands at 9-7.
The Mighty Mikes (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA). The Bulldogs enter the WPIAL 2A 4 contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Bethlehem Center was nudged by Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA), 74-39, in a league contest.
