The Bulldogs now possess a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Normangee for a 2A Region IV District 26 battle on Friday, January 27. Iola will confront a Panthers team coming off a 60-29 league loss to Mumford (Mumford, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-20.
The Panthers (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Snook (Snook, TX). The Bluejays come into the 2A Region IV District 26 battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Snook was overwhelmed by Somerville (Somerville, TX), 50-47, in a league battle.
