California High School Basketball - Desert trounces California City

The Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA) basketball crushed the host California City Ravens (California City, CA), 101-65 in Tuesday's league test.

The Scorpions (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA). The Broncs go into the High Desert test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Kern Valley walloped Boron (Boron, CA), 59-38, in a league test.

The Ravens now own a 5-17 record. They play next when they host Frazier Mountain for a High Desert test on Thursday, January 26. California City will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Rosamond (Rosamond, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-9.
