California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA), 49-47 in a league bout.

With the win, California upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Livermore (Livermore, CA) to clash with the Cowboys in a East Bay bout on Thursday, January 26. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Livermore lost 78-35 in their recent league bout against Monte Vista (Danville, CA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) in a East Bay bout, on Thursday, January 26. Foothill will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 18-4 record after their 59-57 league win over Granada (Livermore, CA).
