California High School Basketball - Holtville can't hold off Calipatria

The Calipatria Hornets basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Holtville Vikings to 59 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vincent Memorial for a Desert contest on Friday, January 27. Calipatria will battle a Scots team coming off a 59-58 league win over Imperial (Imperial, CA). The Scots record now stands at 16-4.
The Vikings (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Imperial (Imperial, CA). The Tigers come into the Desert contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Imperial edged Southwest EC (El Centro, CA), 54-38, in a non-league contest.
