Covenant Classical Cavaliers (Fort Worth, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Calvary Academy Lions (Denton, TX), 65-39 in a league bout.
With the victory, Covenant Classical upgrades its record to 13-13 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout on Saturday, January 28. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 4-11. Weatherford Christian lost 54-47 in their recent league bout against Trinity (Midland, TX)
Next up, the Lions play the Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout, on Saturday, January 28. Calvary Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record.
