The Nazareth Academy Roadrunners basketball team (LaGrange Park, IL), was nudged 43-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL)

The Corsairs now possess a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niles Notre Dame for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Friday, January 27. Carmel will confront a Dons team coming off a 35-19 league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL). The Dons record now stands at 12-10.

The Roadrunners (7-14) will now prepare for their battle against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Downers Grove South edged Proviso East (Maywood, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
