The Eastern View Cyclones basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting Caroline Cavaliers to 56 in the Cyclones league victory on Tuesday.
The Cyclones now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Monroe for a Battlefield contest on Friday, January 27. Eastern View will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 65-52 league loss to Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 6-11.
The Cavaliers (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against King George (King George, VA). The Foxes come into the Battlefield contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, King George triumphed over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA), 68-51, in a league contest.
