North Carolina High School Basketball - Carson thwarted by Lake Norman Charter

The Carson Cougars basketball team (China Grove, NC), was toppled 68-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC)

The Knights now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rowan for a 3A Conference 48 battle on Friday, January 27. Lake Norman Charter will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 73-67 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-12.

The Cougars (8-10) will now prepare for their battle against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders come into the 3A Conference 48 battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Concord was toppled by Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 79-54, in a league battle.
