Cashton Eagles (Cashton, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Royall Panthers (Elroy, WI), 47-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cashton upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Necedah (Necedah, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Scenic Bluffs bout on Friday, January 27. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 5-10. Necedah lost 70-57 in their recent league bout against Bangor (Bangor, WI)

Next up, the Panthers play the New Lisbon Rockets (New Lisbon, WI) in a Scenic Bluffs bout, on Friday, January 27. Royall will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record.
