The C.H. Yoe Yoemen (Cameron, TX) basketball felled the visiting Rogers Eagles (Rogers, TX), 54-45 in Tuesday's league test.
The Yoemen (16-7) will now prepare for their test against Lorena (Lorena, TX). The Leopards go into the 3A Region III District 19 test with a 22-5 record. In their last test, Lorena thwarted McGregor (McGregor, TX), 63-30, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Little River Academy for a 3A Region III District 19 test on Friday, January 27. Rogers will encounter a Bumblebees squad coming off a 56-44 league win over Troy (Troy, TX). The Bumblebees record now stands at 19-8.
