Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Madison Blue Streaks (Madison, OH), 56-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Chardon upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Kirtland (Kirtland, OH) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 8-5.

Next up, the Blue Streaks play the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a Western Reserve bout, on Friday, January 27. Madison will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Bombers go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 80-57 non-league loss to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH).
