The Charlevoix Rayders basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Kalkaska Blazers to 48 in the Rayders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rayders now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Jordan for a Lake Michigan contest on Friday, January 27. Charlevoix will meet a Red Devils team coming off a 87-51 league loss to Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-7.
The Blazers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Grayling (Grayling, MI). The Vikings enter the Lake Michigan contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Grayling nudged Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI), 69-47, in a league contest.
