In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Chestatee War Eagles basketball team scored a tight 63-59 triumph over the East Forsyth Broncos.
In their next game, the War Eagles meet the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8B match, on Friday, January 27. Chestatee will attempt to better on its 14-7 season record. The Red Raiders enter the match with a 19-2 record after their 72-64 league win over North Oconee (Bogart, GA).
With the defeat, East Forsyth moves to 9-12 on the year. The Broncos travel to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA) to meet the Warriors in a AAAA Region 8B match on Friday, January 27. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 10-11. Walnut Grove won 59-41 in their recent league match against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)
