The Chippewa Valley Big Reds basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Dakota Cougars to 56 in the Big Reds non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Big Reds now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host L'Anse Creuse North for a Macomb Area - Red contest on Thursday, January 26.

The Cougars (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Roseville (Roseville, MI). The Panthers enter the Macomb Area - Red contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Roseville was nudged by Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI), 58-34, in a league contest.
