Greeneville Green Devils (Greeneville, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Claiborne Bulldogs (New Tazewell, TN), 76-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Greeneville upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Green Devils travel to Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Dobyns-Bennett won 86-60 in their recent league bout against West Ridge (Blountville, TN)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN) in a 3A District 2 bout, on Friday, January 27. Claiborne will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 63-49 league loss to Cocke County (Newport, TN).
