The Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA), 64-23 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Algona (Algona, IA). The Bulldogs go into the North Central test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Algona was trounced by Humboldt (Humboldt, IA), 89-85, in a league test.
The now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Webster City for a North Central test on Friday, January 27. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 55-36 league win over St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 9-4.
