The Riverside Bulldogs basketball team (Avon, MS), was nudged 35-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS)

The Red Panthers now possess a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Bannon for a 2A Region 3 battle on Friday, January 27. Coahoma County will confront a Greenwaves team coming off a 65-60 league loss to Riverside (Avon, MS). The Greenwaves record now stands at 3-9.

The Bulldogs (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against North Side (Shelby, MS). The Gators come into the 2A Region 3 battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, North Side was nudged by Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS), 53-30, in a league battle.
