Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN), 94-67 in a league bout.

With the win, Columbia Heights upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Hylanders travel to Robbinsdale Cooper (New Hope, MN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Spartans play the DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN) in a AAA Section 3 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Richfield will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Islanders go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 72-53 non-league win over Fridley (Fridley, MN).
