Mendez Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Contreras Cobras (Los Angeles, CA), 37-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Mendez upgrades its record to 7-11 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Robert F. Kennedy Community (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Bobcats in a Central bout on Thursday, January 26. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Robert F. Kennedy Community won 61-45 in their recent league bout against Bernstein (Hollywood, CA)

Next up, the Cobras play the Belmont Sentinels (Los Angeles, CA) in a Central bout, on Thursday, January 26. Contreras will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Sentinels go into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 82-35 league loss to Roybal (Los Angeles, CA).
