New Mexico High School Basketball - Cottonwood Classical Prep knocked off by Sandia Prep

The Sandia Prep Sundevils basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes to 52 in the Sundevils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sundevils now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cuba for a 3A District 5 contest on Thursday, January 26. Sandia Prep will meet a Rams team coming off a 56-29 league loss to Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Rams record now stands at 5-11.

The Coyotes (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM). The Blue Griffins enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Santa Fe Prep ran past Raton (Raton, NM), 52-47, in a league contest.
