Maryland High School Basketball - Maryland School for the Deaf nips Covenant Life

Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles (Frederick, MD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Covenant Life Cougars (Gaithersburg, MD), 42-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Maryland School for the Deaf upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Orioles travel to Perry Hall Christian (Perry Hall, MD) to play the in a Maryland Independent bout on Tuesday, January 31. The come into the bout with a record of 8-11.

Next up, the Cougars play the Greater Grace Christian Academy Eagles (Baltimore, MD) in a Maryland Independent bout, on Thursday, January 26. Covenant Life will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 52-42 league loss to Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD).
