In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Cumberland Christian Academy patriot (Austell, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy (Atlanta, GA), by a count of 78-57.
The patriot (15-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hearts Academy (Powder Springs, GA). The Panthers go into the GAPPS - I-A Region 1 outing with a 2-14 record. In their last outing, Hearts Academy was crushed by Forest (Fayetteville, GA), 58-43, in a league outing.
The now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Tampa Christian Academy for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 25. Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy will clash with a Titans squad coming off a 76-50 non-league win over Admiral Farragut (St. Petersburg, FL). The Titans record now stands at 19-2.
