Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX), 67-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Grady upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Wildcats host Klondike (Lamesa, TX) to play the Cougars in a 1A Region I District 8 bout on Friday, January 27. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Klondike won 68-20 in their recent league bout against Wellman-Union (Wellman, TX)

Next up, the Dragons play the Loop Longhorns (Loop, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 bout, on Friday, January 27. Dawson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 57-22 league loss to Sands (Ackerly, TX).
