The Dayton Pirates routed the visiting Taft Tigers basketball team by a final score of 73-47 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Pirates face the Amity Warriors (Amity, OR) in a 3A PacWest game, on Tuesday, January 31. Dayton will attempt to move on its 16-1 season record.
With the defeat, Taft moves to 5-12 on the year. The Tigers travel to Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR) to face the Eagles in a 3A PacWest game on Friday, January 27. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 12-5.
