Wisconsin High School Basketball - D.C. Everest succumbs to Wausau East

The Wausau East Lumberjacks topped the visiting D.C. Everest Evergreens basketball team by a final score of 77-69 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lumberjacks (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Merrill (Merrill, WI). The Bluejays go into the Wisconsin Valley test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Merrill was beaten by Wausau West (Wausau, WI), 76-69, in a league test.
The Evergreens now own a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Marshfield for a Wisconsin Valley test on Friday, January 27. D.C. Everest will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 80-68 non-league win over Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 13-4.
