The Dickson County Cougars (Dickson, TN) basketball knocked off the host McEwen Warriors (McEwen, TN), 68-56 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (Clarksville, TN). The Vikings go into the 4A District 14 test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Northwest went down by Dyer County (Newbern, TN), 68-61, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Houston County for a 1A District 11 test on Friday, January 27. McEwen will encounter a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 60-33 non-league win over Waverly Central (Waverly, TN). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 8-10.
