South Carolina High School Basketball - Dreher topped by Lower Richland

The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Dreher Blue Devils to 43 in the Diamond Hornets league victory on Tuesday.
The Diamond Hornets now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookland-Cayce for a AAA Region 5 contest on Friday, January 27. Lower Richland will battle a Bearcats team coming off a 66-47 league loss to Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 7-11.
The Blue Devils (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Swansea (Swansea, SC). The Tigers come into the AAA Region 5 contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Swansea dropped by Gilbert (Gilbert, SC), 56-36, in a league contest.
