Iowa High School Basketball - East Union knocked off by Wayne

The Wayne Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting East Union Eagles to 36 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lenox for a Pride of Iowa contest on Friday, January 27. Wayne will battle a Tigers team coming off a 64-49 league win over Southwest Valley (Corning, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-7.
The Eagles (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA). The Raiders enter the Pride of Iowa contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Mount Ayr ran past Centerville (Centerville, IA), 72-47, in a non-league contest.
