With the victory, Highland improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Rams host Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA) to play the Fighting Blues in a Pioneer challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Fighting Blues come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Parry McCluer won 67-56 in their recent league challenge against Covington (Covington, VA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Friday, January 27. Eastern Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 64-46 league loss to Bath County (Hot Springs, VA).
