Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) and the visiting Rye Cove Eagles (Clinchport, VA), saw Eastside's basketball squad wallop Rye Cove by a tally of 68-33.

With the victory, Eastside improves its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA) to confront the Titans in a Cumberland challenge on Friday, January 27. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 11-6.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) in a Cumberland challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Rye Cove will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record.
