With the victory, Edinburg upgrades its record to 20-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Economedes (Edinburg, TX) to play the Jaguars in a 6A Region IV District 31 bout on Friday, January 27. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 13-16. Economedes won 67-52 in their recent league bout against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Edinburg North Cougars (Edinburg, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 31 bout, on Friday, January 27. Mission will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 19-14 record after their 53-52 league loss to La Joya (La Joya, TX).
