The Elk Rapids Elks basketball team (Elk Rapids, MI), was overwhelmed 69-47 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Grayling Vikings (Grayling, MI)
The Vikings now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kalkaska for a Lake Michigan battle on Friday, January 27. Grayling will battle a Blazers team coming off a 49-48 league loss to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Blazers record now stands at 4-6.
The Elks (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Boyne City (Boyne City, MI). The Ramblers come into the Lake Michigan battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Boyne City trounced St. Francis (Traverse City, MI), 50-44, in a league battle.
