Elmwood Park Crusaders (Elmwood Park, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ), 60-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Elmwood Park upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Cresskill (Cresskill, NJ) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 9-4.

Next up, the Lions play the Bard (New York, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology will attempt to upgrade on its 7-15 season record. The go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 77-57 non-league loss to West Caldwell Tech (West Caldwell, NJ).
