With the victory, Sigourney improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Savages host Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA) to play the Plainsmen in a South Iowa Cedar challenge on Friday, January 27. The Plainsmen come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Belle Plaine won 68-24 in their recent league challenge against Tri-County (Thornburg, IA)

Next up, the Bears play the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. English Valleys will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record.
