The Evangel Christian Academy Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Minden Crimson Tide to 39 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 20-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bossier for a 4A District 1 contest on Friday, January 27. Evangel Christian Academy will battle a Bearkats team coming off a 66-39 league win over Northwood (Shreveport, LA). The Bearkats record now stands at 13-9.

The Crimson Tide (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington (Ferriday, LA). The Hounds come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Huntington triumphed over Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA), 53-44, in a non-league contest.
