Georgia High School Basketball - Evans overwhelmed by Grovetown

The Grovetown Warriors basketball team scored 92 points and restricted the visiting Evans Knights to 55 in the Warriors league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glynn Academy for a AAAAAA Region 2 contest on Friday, January 27. Grovetown will battle a Terrors team coming off a 49-46 league loss to Lakeside (Evans, GA). The Terrors record now stands at 10-10.
The Knights (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Effingham County (Springfield, GA). The Rebels come into the AAAAAA Region 2 contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Effingham County was routed by Lakeside (Evans, GA), 64-63, in a league contest.
