With the victory, Model upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to North Murray (Chatsworth, GA) to play the Mountaineers in a AA Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 27. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. North Murray won 89-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Coosa (Rome, GA)

Next up, the Rebels play the Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA) in a AA Region 7 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Fannin County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-18 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 82-73 league loss to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA).
