Illinois High School Basketball - Lewistown knocked off by Farmington

The Farmington Farmers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Lewistown Indians to 43 in the Farmers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Farmers now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Prairie for a Prairieland contest on Friday, January 27. Farmington will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 70-43 league loss to Havana (Havana, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 1-21.
The Indians (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL). The Wildcats enter the Prairieland contest with a 5-15 record. In their last contest, Cuba/Spoon River Valley was outscored by Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL), 35-34, in a league contest.
