Tennessee High School Basketball - Father Ryan tipped by Montgomery Bell Academy

The Montgomery Bell Academy Big Red basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Father Ryan Fightin' Irish to 41 in the Big Red league triumph on Tuesday.
The Big Red now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ensworth for a Division II-AA Middle contest on Friday, January 27. Montgomery Bell Academy will meet a Tigers team coming off a 49-48 non-league win over Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 13-8.
The Fightin' Irish (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Lions enter the Division II-AA Middle contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Christ Presbyterian Academy nudged Lipscomb Academy (Nashville, TN), 55-48, in a league contest.
