Texas High School Basketball - Sterling City nudges Forsan

In Tuesday's league outing, the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) basketball squad nipped the visiting Forsan Buffaloes (Forsan, TX), by a margin of 47-45.

The Eagles (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Eldorado (Eldorado, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region I District 7 outing with a 11-17 record. In their last outing, Eldorado was tipped by Christoval (Christoval, TX), 55-47, in a league outing.

The Buffaloes now own a 11-14 record. They play next when they host Reagan County for a 2A Region I District 7 outing on Friday, January 27. Forsan will clash with a Owls squad coming off a 90-36 league win over Sonora (Sonora, TX). The Owls record now stands at 20-9.
