Freeport Bulldogs (Freeport, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ponce De Leon Pirates (Ponce De Leon, FL), 70-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Freeport upgrades its record to 9-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Holmes County (Bonifay, FL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Holmes County won 67-46 in their recent non-league bout against Malone (Malone, FL)

Next up, the Pirates play the Altha Wildcats (Altha, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Ponce De Leon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 76-34 non-league loss to North Florida Christian (Tallahassee, FL).
