Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Genoa Central Dragons (Texarkana, AR), 61-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Glen Rose upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Beavers host Centerpoint (Amity, AR) to play the Knights in a 3A Region 7 bout on Saturday, January 28. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Centerpoint lost 39-38 in their recent league bout against Harmony Grove (Benton, AR)

Next up, the Dragons play the Bismarck Lions (Bismarck, AR) in a 3A Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 27. Genoa Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record.
